FAITH HILL
COUNTRY CROSSOVER
Take me as I am In the early nineties Faith Hill wore the Nashville uniform: denim, diamonds, cowboy boots, big shoulders and even bigger hair. But as her sound fused with gospel, R&B and pop, her style focus switched from Music Row to Seventh Avenue. "We steer clear of anything too western," says Garth Condit, her stylist since 1999. "We've upped her fashion quotient." Hill's closet now holds Richard Tyler gowns, a magenta beaded coatdress and Grecian dress by Versace. "She's sexy, modern and cool, with a little edge," says Condit.
I can't do that anymore Saying goodbye to long blond tresses, Hill appeared last spring at the American Music Awards sporting a choppy cropped do. Now gearing up for baby No. 3, Hill has cut her hair even shorter (worn in the accompanying photo with her favorite Christian Dior shades).
