Will We Live on Mars?

No need to call an intergalactic moving van just yet, but it's not impossible that a small band of pioneers could live on the Red Planet sometime soon. Political and economic stumbling blocks are what lie in the way of getting the go-ahead to blast off to Mars right now; the technology is in place. There's no need to worry about the basics, scientists insist — colonists could use the frigid Martian atmosphere to create water and oxygen for survival.
